Chop up 1 medium onion and 1/2 of green pepper into small pieces\r

Squeeze meat out of sweet Italian sausage.\r

Place a pot over medium heat.\r
\r
Place ground beef, sweet Italian sausage meat, chopped onions & green peppers into pot.\r

Add 1 tsp of minced garlic and cook it for approx 10 mins until it browns\r
\r
Meanwhile, drain juice from 15 oz cans of pinto beans and red kidney beans.\r
\r
Reduce heat to low, and poor beans into pot of meat and stir\r
\r
Add a little tomato sauce about 3/4 cups, 1 15 oz can of diced tomatoes, and 6 oz can of tomato paste and stir\r
\r
Then add 1/2 cup of beef broth and stir again\r
\r
Add seasons...\r
\r
1/4 cup of Chili powder, 1/4 cup of brown sugar, 1 tbs of oregano, 1 tbs of cumin, 1 tsp of celery salt, 1 tsp of garlic powder, 1 tsp of onion powder, 1 tsp of black pepper, and 1/2 tsp of cayenne pepper and stir in well\r

Add 1 bay leaf and allow the chili to simmer on low heat for 20-30 minutes
